Thank you to everyone who attended our second event for the Balloch Village plans project at the National Park headquarters on 17 November 2016. Our afternoon drop-in session saw over 30 people view feedback received at the project launch and through Commonplace.
An evening workshop followed on from this between 7-9pm which a further 33 people attended. The objective of the workshop was to capture ideas and begin pulling them together using model kits to see what the people of Balloch want for their area.
We are now looking to pull together all the feedback we have received so far and come up with design proposals. Our next event is likely to take place early 2017.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their views on the Balloch Village Plans (Street Design) project via our launch event and through Commonplace.
Between September and October 2016, we received over 80 comments on the Commonplace comment map with 180 agreements ; and over 100 comments from our launch event about how you would like to see Balloch Village improved. Comments have been wide-ranging which we are currently taking on board and will be reporting on soon.
Further public workshops and engagement events are planned to enable local people to become involved in the design process. Formal workshops will be held in November 2016, early in the New Year and again in Spring 2017 to develop and showcase ideas.
Please keep checking this site for details of upcoming consultation events or contact emily.davie@sustrans.org.uk for more information.
